Band

Band is a group of students who play their instruments for football games, basketball games, and at concerts. They are performing at their highest standards; they are very good. The band play in freezing cold parades, and they practice almost everyday.

Their dedication and talents give them the title - "The Pride of Silver High"

Choir

Choir is an organized group of students who perform their singing talents in school and out of school activities. A Silver High Choir concert is always a delight!

FFA

Silver FFA is where students learn about the agricultural world around them, and also pick up life skills that they can use in the future.

Auto Club

Students learn about automobiles and the different parts that make up the cars of today. Girls and boys enjoy this club.

Student Council

They organize many school activities such as homecoming events, the homecoming dance, and Winter Ball. They also work with community events such as Veterians Ringing of the Bells at Walmart, Christmas gift giving to the elderly in Silver City, helping with Blood Drives, collecting money for Pennies for Patients, and any other community need that may come up.

Newspaper

A group of students who write articles about the latest news that happen at Silver High in the local newspaper.

Chess Club

Students that play the game of chess against each other and compete against other schools.It is very competitve and creates good logic skills.

Key Club

Key Club perform acts of service in their communities, such as cleaning up parks, collecting clothing and organizing food drives. They also learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects and holding elected leadership positions at the club.
